My name is Dr. Hassan Khushi. I’m a doctor by training, but my mission goes far beyond clinical walls. Over the years, I’ve realized that healing isn’t only physical it’s emotional, intellectual, and deeply personal. That’s why I work at the intersection of medicine, education, and social responsibility.
Whether I’m leading a healthcare camp, mentoring youth, or writing about learning, my goal is always the same to help people heal, grow, and move forward with strength. This page is where I share my projects, ideas, and ongoing efforts. I’m grateful you’re here.

Founded in 2025 by Dr. Hassan Khushi, Kurram Doctors Union (KDU) is the lead field partner of Early Wind – Guiding Futures, delivering health, psychological, and educational support in collaboration with OSO.

About Early Wind – Guiding Futures
Early Wind – Guiding Futures is a long-term collaboration between Omeed Social Organisation (OSO) and Kurram Doctors Union (KDU).
It rests on four ideas: early intervention, prevention, empowerment and capacity building. The aim is not only to provide temporary help, but to leave behind knowledge, skills, confidence and people able to pass on what they have learned.

OSO provides financing, documentation, media and administrative support. KDU leads execution in the field, drawing on its doctors and volunteers. The project is directed by Dr. Hassan Khushi, founder and then-chairman of KDU.
The two organisations had worked together on smaller joint projects before. Early Wind – Guiding Futures formalised that relationship into a long-term, structured collaboration.
