Under the Early Wind – Guiding Futures Collaboration (OSO x KDU)
Location:
Peace Group of Colleges – Hill and Skill Campus (Boys & Girls), Abbottabad
Duration:
4 Days
Day 1 & 2: Boys Section Day 3 & 4: Girls Section
Theme & Objectives
Rooted in the ideas presented in Learn (by Dr. Hassan Khushi), this event aimed to empower students through:
Educational Guidance – Study techniques, learning strategies, and academic planning
Health Education – Practical hygiene, awareness, and preventive care
Psychological Aid – Managing stress, motivation, and emotional balance
Originally planned for Kurram and Abbottabad, the camp was held exclusively in Abbottabad due to security concerns. After exploring multiple options, Peace Group of Colleges stood out for their exceptional hospitality and commitment to student development.
Boys Section – Peace Hill Campus
Students from Grade 8 to 2nd Year participated in interactive sessions on:
Learning techniques & life hacks
Career exploration and Q&A
Motivation and academic focus
Teachers actively participated and discussed the book Learn. One teacher even applied a method immediately and noticed results the very next day!
On-ground coordination and documentation by Mr. Faziab, who also ensured smooth operations throughout the two days.

Girls Section – Peace Silk Campus
Thanks to Ms. Hina (Biology Teacher) and Sir Amir, we were able to conduct empowering sessions on:
Health and hygiene
Emotional regulation and self-care
Stress management and self-healing techniques
Students received individual and group attention. Teachers especially emphasized the growing need for psychological support for girls facing pressure and anxiety in their academic life.

Special Thanks
This event would not have been possible without the incredible support from the team at Peace Group of Colleges:
Principal Sir Zain-ul-Abideen – for his generosity, leadership, and full support
Ms. Hina – for bridging access to the girls’ campus and initiating trust
Sir Amir – for helping make the girls’ sessions possible
Mr. Faziab – for coordination and event photography
To all the teachers, staff, and students whose energy and openness made this event truly special
Together, they made this event not just successful—but memorable.
Conclusion
The Smart Learning event in Abbottabad is a milestone in the Early Wind – Guiding Futures journey. What began as an idea is now a movement—bringing meaningful change to real students, in real classrooms, across real communities.
From career guidance to psychological resilience, this event touched every dimension of youth development.
As we continue, OSO and KDU remain dedicated to taking this model into more regions, supporting more youth, and planting the seeds of a brighter, healthier future.
Early Wind is no longer just a project—it’s a movement.
