A self-sustaining model for long-term social impact

Omeed Social Organisation
Founded in Parachinar, Pakistan, OSO (Omeed Social Organisation) is a forward-thinking initiative built on one simple idea:
To help society, you must first be independent from it.
We believe that true social change cannot rely on temporary donations or charity-based models. That’s why OSO was designed to be self-sustaining, innovative, and deeply connected to the communities it serves.
Our Mission
To build a resilient ecosystem that supports people, empowers local businesses, strengthens education and healthcare, and promotes intelligent development — without depending on external aid or short-term donations.
OSO is still growing, and much work remains—but the foundation is solid, and the mission is clear.

Our Foundation
Many organizations exist with good intentions, but their role is often reduced to acting as intermediaries between donors and recipients. This makes them entirely dependent on donations—and we must ask: what happens when the donations stop?

What makes OSO different
We does not depend on donor funding
Our model is powered by recurring membership contributions
We form mutually beneficial partnerships with businesses, schools, and professionals
We create and co-own businesses that reflect our values and support our programs
Our structure ensures transparency, long-term planning, and zero cash corruption
Membership System
OSO soon be legally registered as a Private Limited Company (non-profit purpose) under Section 16 of the Companies Act, 2017 – Pakistan.
We operate with five distinct member types:
Exclusive Members:
Pay a monthly membership fee. These are high-commitment individuals who benefit from voting rights and strategic access based on their tier. They help guide OSO’s future.
Regular Members:
Everyday citizens who support OSO simply by shopping at our professional partner stores.
Beneficiary Members:
Individuals who benefit from OSO’s social programs (e.g., P3, LEAP). They receive targeted support such as monthly purchase discounts or tuition fee assistance.
Professional Members:
Businesses, schools, and service providers who sign an agreement to participate in OSO’s network and contribute a % of sales from OSO members.
Honorary Members:
Volunteers and supporters who help OSO on the ground or behind the scenes. While they are not paid, their contributions are recognized formally by the organization.
Financial Model
OSO operates on a return-sharing model, not on charity.
Each OSO program is designed to provide tangible social support while also generating a small return to fund operations, expand services, and build OSO’s independence.
Examples:
P3 (Purchasing Power Program):
Offers discounts to beneficiaries while receiving 1% of total sales from professional partners.
LEAP (Learning & Education Access Program):
Supports students in need with tuition aid; generates 2% returns through partner agreements.
OSO-Owned Ventures:
OSO can create or co-create businesses aligned with its values. These businesses will generate long-term sustainability for OSO.

Practical local impact
Deep accountability
And all of it is done transparently, legally, and with clarity.
OSO is not just an organization — it’s a growing ecosystem of ideas, ethics, and action. Built on independence, transparency, and sustainability, OSO invites individuals, businesses, and communities to shape a future where impact is measurable, and support is mutual.
